Her new series playfully documents the behind-the-scenes drama of a fictional Hispanic television soap opera—called telenovelas, they’re immensely popular with Spanish-speaking viewers around the world—and Meneses plays Isabela Santamaria, an over-the-top diva who is one of the highlights of the show.

DWTS’ Champion Maksim Chmerkovskiy Talks Career, Looks Toward the Future
“Are they or aren’t they” surrounded the pairing of Maksim “Maks” Chmerkovskiy and partner Meryl Davis on the recent Dancing With the Stars season. Extremely exact and responsive performances – closer to those of seasoned ballroom pros than what you typically see on the ABC show – stirred the rumors, and while to date the assumptions have yet to be confirmed, Chmerkovskiy and Davis took home the trophy on May 20th.
